Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Holly Braida. I'm a dental hygienist at Uptown Park Dental.

I was born in Colorado, but spent most of my life in small town Pella, Iowa. Pella is a Dutch community, although I’m not a Dutch, I learned to sing in Dutch and dance with wooden shoes on to help represent the city as a Pella Dutchess. When I’m not cleaning teeth, you can find me trying new coffee shops, shopping, cooking or taking my dachshund, Mocha, to dog parks. After living in Kansas City, I learned to become a KC Royals fan but still support my home state's NFL team. Go Broncos!

My passion for dentistry started as a junior in high school, when I spent two weeks interning in a dental office. During those weeks, I researched and wrote a paper on dentistry, with a focus on dental hygiene, which sparked a passion for saving smiles. The first four years of my career were years of growth and learning as a dental assistant; but, after deciding I wanted to further my education, I worked hard to complete a dental hygiene program and continue on to saving smiles in a career I love. I am super excited to be in the Albuquerque area and to be making an impact on the oral health of this community.
